Connections Academy Reviews
Quality Score: 5 Post Date:2008-10-17
“I am the parent of a 7th grader at Connections Academy, and I am beyond impressed by this cyberschool. My son has learned an incredible amount in the short time he has been with CA. The lessons are so enriching and the format is stuctured, supportive, and easy to follow. The Junior Great Books program is wonderful. His teachers have been engaged and of high quality. I am thrilled with all I have seen so far. My son enjoys his classes and has developed a strong interest in science and literature.” This review was posted by a parent.

“We allowed our children to attend Connections academy for two years. One of our daughters attended 4th and 5th grade and the other daughter 7th and 8th grade. The program was a complete failure. There is no direct teacher involvement and they refuse to credit the children properly for the credits they earned so that they could transfer to a traditional school. I would rate the school for all four grades 1 star out of 10 with that star given simply because I believe parents need choices.” This review was posted by a parent.

“This is our third year with CCA, and it has been very productive and successful for our family. My twins were really struggling in the conventional public school, although that school has received high marks for standardized testing. I have been able to work with them, and see the progress each makes. Twins, but two different learning styles, have been making great progress! Will give an A+ to this wonderful 'Virtual Public School' program.” This review was posted by a parent.
