Centennial Academy of Fine Arts Education Reviews

We decided on Centennial after looking at several in the area. The staff is happy, experienced, and engaged with the kids. Now our Kindergartner is having fun and has learned to read (I sure didn t teach her that). We are very happy to be at Centennial.

A real find. As an out-of-district parent that is choosing to attend, I am so pleased we found this school. My daughter is learning the core - reading, writing - but is really blossoming with the arts and music program.

Simply the BEST office and nursing staff in all of Colorado.

There are many wonderful things about Centennial such as parent involvement and the fine arts program. The special education program is excellent. Having a full day kindergarten is a big benefit for parents of children entering the school system. I dislike the 'everyday' math program adopted by the school because it does not concentrate on the building blocks of math, the facts. The reading program is not purely based on phonics but is a combination of phonics and sight recognition. I feel that the higher grades had better instruction although this opinion is based on my experiences. In all fairness, my children did not have every teacher. The quality of the instructors varies drastically. I am perplexed by the number of out of district enrolled students. This is an average school academically. if you are interested in your child receiving an 'art' education, this is the place for you.

School has teachers who really care about the students academic learning. They have a wonderful music and arts program. Each student gets to choose from a long list of fine arts classes. There are plenty of parents nights to see the children perform what they learned each semester. A great school starting from the principal down to the wonderful parent who give their time.
