Lincoln Charter Academy Reviews

My son has attended Lincoln Academy since kindergarten and we love it! The Core Knowledge curriculum is impressive in its scope and depth. The reading program works for most of the kids. For the kids who struggle with reading there are five small group reading teachers for intensive reading instruction. The school provides help for struggling students and enrichment for advanced students. But mostly it provides a very solid education for all students. If you are interested in Lincoln Academy, (a charter school), I encourage you to research Core Knowledge.

I think this school is absolutely wonderful. The y have been phenominal for my son and really helped him grow not only as a student in education but also as a person who is learning responsibility, respect and excellence as a person.

I love this school. The curriculm is outstanding. Core knowledge is the way to go! I know that with this school in my daughters life, she will succeed. They offer options for different learning styles and focus on the basics which is the most important. All children who attend, will be productive.

I have had two children in Lincoln, one is now in high school and he started there in 1st grade. The best thing about Lincoln is they use curriculum that WORKS, they don't experiment on your kids with 'new techniques' that aren't proven. The basics that your child receives (especially K-3) set them up to succeed in life. There is no better school...public or private in my opinion.

By far Lincoln Academy exceeded any expectations I had of what school would and could be. The Core Knowledge academic program was incredible. My son found learning fun and yet challenging. The communication between the teachers, parents, principle, and school staff was impecable. I knew what was going on and what I could be a part of. The parents are strongly encouraged to be an active part of their kids education and have the support of the staff. I could not have asked for a better start for my son and would start at any age. I would give it 5 stars in my book.

I am impressed with the core knowledge content.

Lincoln Academy has been an excellent school for my son. He has been there since Kindergarten and I would highly recommend the school. The Core Curriculum gives a well-rounded education, the teacher/student ratio and the assistant teachers allow each student to get noticed. Parents are very welcome in the classrooms and our involvement in our children's education is expected and appreciated. Behaviour problems are dealt with quickly; parents are notified when there are any problems arising. The teachers are always available to talk or Email about problems, grades or assistance within a short period of time. We always know that our child is safe and that there are no strangers in the buildings or in the yard. L.A. provides music, art, PE and computer classes. There is homework most weeknights but it is always relevant to their classwork, never just busy work.
