For outdoor summer concerts, Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a 9,000-seat natural outdoor arena carved out of 500-foot high, red sandstone cliffs overlooking Denver and the plains, hosting everyone from Beatles to U2. Other outdoor venues include the Denver Botanic Gardens, Universal Lending Pavilion, and Coors Amphitheatre. Every Thursday night during the summer, enjoy free concerts with top local bands at downtown’s Denver Pavilions on 16th Street Mall.
