Description:
Cabaret Diosa resurrects for ONE NIGHT ONLY
Joining forces with Denver A-List Burlesque!!!
Nothing less than the tantalizing burlesque ladies of Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret could have coaxed the mambo band, Cabaret Diosa, out of their luxurious retirement…
The exquisite “Clockettes” will dance to the scintillating music of Cabaret Diosa, (9-piece, goddess-worshipping, love cult, show band and revue) at the Swallow Hill Music Hall Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 8pm.
Enjoy a mojito, shake your maracas and take-in a tassle-twirling mambo or two!
“Cabaret Diosa is a nine-piece mambo rock ensemble that is more of an intoxicating celebration than a band. The name means “Theatre of the Goddess” and their musical concoction combines classic Cuban mambo, American rock and roll, and hypnotic Middle Eastern beats for a formula that entices a distinctive dance music experience.” - Jambase
“…and there, my darling, we shall dance barely clothed by the light of a thousand tiki torches… dance as though our pants were aflame with the very fires of carnal desire. There I shall cover you in kisses and bathe you in caresses…” Rev. JD Queso
