Description:
This session of the astrology cycle, “4 + 3 = 7 - The Planets: Mars,” will focus on Tower. Our overall theme for the 2-year astrology cycle is Telling the Story of the Stars. We’ll discover the tarot cards that correlate to the symbols of the elements, modes, planets, signs and houses of astrology and see how these translate to the language of myths both ancient and modern. Then we’ll practice using the particulars of our chart or the charts of others to create unique stories inspired by the stars and told through tarot that will help guide us on our spiritual journey and in our everyday lives. Our astrology series will be follow a loose agenda based on the following: 1.We’ll get each session off to a focused start by going around the table, each person aloud or silently stating a single-sentence affirmation for what he or she wants to get out of the session (6:30-6:40) 2.We’ll head into a lively discussion of the topic for that night (6:40-7:30) 3.Then we’ll do a short meditation or group activity to re-focus the group energy (7:30-7:40) 4.Then we’ll each spend time on our own examining our chart or charts of family and friends through a spread or other exercise (7:40-8:15) 5.We’ll regroup and go around the table again, each person as they choose sharing briefly what they got out of the session (8:15-8:30) Please come as early as 6 for tea and chatting.
